Starry , starry night

To whom it shines so bright at night

For the travelers that needs some light

Or to someone who needs some guidance up in the sky

Light from the blue happens from the past

But how could happen to see by our naked eyes

If million years for the light to come

Does it possible to see a ghost of the past?

Stars that blinks from now and then

 Just an illusion made by air

Dust that covers our precious space

That makes that beautiful starry,  starry night

Colors of the Past (Coloring Shadows ver. 1)

On the day that whites conquered our land

Our freedom, wealth and  soul were gone.

The color of Red covered the earth

That flows beneath our raging Sun

People fought and died

Against the monstrous tyranny of the EAST

Blood, Toil and Tears were offered

To regain the stolen freedom from our past

For the aim for freedom a Flag was weave

With  sun and three stars that stands for unity

The color of red that tells that we will fight

And a shade of blue that aimed a peace among us

Then a hymn started to be heard

And meaningful words changed everything

An anthem that was sang on the balcony

and a flag that tells that we are FREE.

A Filipino Christian Leader

FCL programs are core subjects of the school in developing the character and to promote the values that our lord teaches us. To live a true Christian, not only in doctrine but to be an active and purposeful helpers of God especially in transforming the lives of the student towards nation building of our beloved country, the Philippines.

All FCL programs have its own unique curriculum to attain the mission of the school in character building. FCL develop and let me realize my Identity and establish my dignity as a true christen citizen of the world. A man of God and a Man for others that would not hesitate to extend help to those in need. And to share and to live in the community conveying the values from our lord that FCL programs teaches to us. A call for perfections in order to be a just and effective Filipino Christian leader of our society embedded by the traits needed to know what to develop.

All of us are leaders, leaders in a way that we, in some way, can transform the lives of few for the better. Having traits that are exceptional especially by knowing what kind of leader are we. Am I an Autocratic, Democratic, Transformational, or a leader that carries the values, principles and philosophies of being Christian?

To know what kind of leader are we is to have a realization with the help of other people and reading the gospels and understanding the teachings of St. Paul. Is might not be an answer but it is a help to know the qualifications of a true leader.

Christ is a leader it is not limited to the apostles but extended to us even nowadays. He is an authentic leader that brought us to the enlightenment especially in promoting peace in the community. He was a transformational and servant leader that empowers the people.

We are leaders of today’s future. We are here; living in our peaceful society should keep and continue the legacy of our lord in promoting peace and good moral values to our countrymen. We are not living for ourselves but for others. We are a man of god and a man for others. To share and develop the identity and dignity our fellowmen as a Filipino that would last for long. Because, we are A FILIPINO CHRISTIAN LEADER.

ICT in Classroom

How can teachers effectively use computers and the internet in the classroom?

Teachers can effectively use computers and internet in the classroom by knowing the needs of the students beforehand when doing the lesson plan. Teachers should not use those technologies as a replacement of MP4 (Manila Paper 4sheets). It should be used as an alternative way of learning that can supplement learning for the students. Teachers should use computers in an interactive and creative way as he/she can, in order to get the attention and to motivate the learners to listen and participate in the class discussion.

Does the technology make you learn? In what ways?

Yes, Technology helps a lot especially in searching new knowledge that the book cannot offer. There are many computer and mobile applications that can be used in learning. For example, when I need to read a news article, I don’t need to buy news paper, in few clicks; fresh and comprehensive news can be read through the news portals on the internet. Technology is a great learning aid and innovation in learning process. It helps us to get knowledge that we want in just a matter of seconds.

Ang Simula ng Kasaysayan ng Roma

Intrudoksyon:
Ang Republika ng mga Romano ay nagbigay kontribusyon sa larangan ng Pulikita sa buong mundo. Ito ay isang simula ng makabagong sibilisasyon sa naiiba sa mga sibilisasyon ng Mesopotamia, Ehipto, Aztec, at ibapang sibilisasyon na nauna.

Katawan:
Nagsimula ang lahat kay Remus at Romulus na sinasabing nag tatag ng Sibilisasyon ng Romano sa tabi ng Ilog Tiber sa Tangway ng Italya. Ayon kay Plutarch at Livy si Romulus ang nag silbing kauna-unahang hari nito.
Sinakop nila ang kaharian ng Etruscans, Gauls, Greyego at nabuo ang Repulika ng Romano. lahat na nasakop na lupain ay ginawang pagaari at ang mga mamamayan roon ay ginawang mga kasapi ng pamahalaan.
Binubuo ang pamahalaan ng Senate, Consuls, at Praetors. Sila ay itinalaga ng mga tao upang mamahala sa Republika. Sa panahon ng problemang Militar, namimili sila ng isang diktador na mamumuno sa loob ng anim na buwan. Pagkalipas ng anim na buwan at natapos na rin ang problema ay ibabalik ang constitutional government ng Roma.
Masasabing isang aksidente ang pagiging Emperyo ang Republika nang tulungan nila ng Sicily laban sa Chartage na Tinawag na Mga Digmaag Punic. Ito ay nag simula nuong 264 hangang146 BK at masasabing ang pinaka mahapabang digmaan sa kasaysayan ng Matandang Panahon.
Pag katapos ng mga digmaang Punic ay napalitan ng Militar na pamamahala ang dating Republikang pamahalaan. Naging maluho at iniwan ang dating simpleng buhay na nagsasaka lang sa sakahan.
Dahil sa pag aaway ng Senado ay nabuo at naitatag ang Unang Triumvitrate na kinabibilangan ng Julius Ceazar, Pomey the Great at Marcus Crasus. Ngunit sila mismo ay hindi nag kasundo-sundo at ang patayan din.
Nang mabuwang ang Unag Triamvirate ay nabuo ang ikalawa nakinabibilangan nina Octavian (Augstus Ceasar), Marcus Lepidus at Anthony. Sumama si Mark Anthony ka Cleopatra VII at nag karoon ng anak. Datapwat, si Anthony ay kasal sa kapatid ni Octavius kaya pinaslang nito ang buhay ni Anthony at sumunod namang nag pakamatay si Cleopatra. At Sumiklab ang digmaan ng Senado.
Nag retiro si Marcus Lepidus sa Katungkulan at naiwan si Octavian na iprinoklama ang sarili na kauna-unahang Emperador ng Emperyong Romano, at tinawag siyang Augusts Ceasar.

Konklusyon:
Kung hindi tinulung ng Republika ang Sicily laban sa mga Charthaginian marahil sila ay nanatiling simple, malayo sa karangyaan at simpleng magsasaka.

TRIVIA:
Nang ipinanganak si Hesukristo ay panahon naman ng paghahari bilang Emperador si Augustus Ceasar.
Ang salitang Republic ay nagmula sa dalawang salita na Representative of the Public. RePublic.
Alam niyo ba na sa Roman Empire na imbento ang Poso at Simento. Dahil na rin na sila ay mga great builders.

Looking Forward to the Future

I don't know how to start my entry. How to begin my first paragraph, my first sentence. It is hard for me to choose the appropriate word. But this is the only thing that runs to my mind. It is about how to start a better future.

A better future is our choice, it is up to us what way we will choose, either on a good way or bad way. For example, if you want a good life into the future, you must strive to finish your schooling first before to do things that you are not yet prepared. Think first before you do an action that can affect your life. Don't let your emotions eat you, use your mind, use your thinking skills to decide what will you do, what decision will you plan to make. Every decision is corresponding has a consequences.

If you have no plan in your life, just leave a consideration to those who strive their best to reach success. Do not pull them down. You can not help our country by just a street standby and jobless. Think again. The key to your to success is in your own bare-hands. You are the one doing your actions.

Think, think, think... think what future belongs to you...

Ang Emerador ng Dinastiyang Chin si Ch’in Shih-huang-ti

Introduksyon:

Si Ch’in Shih-huang-ti o Qin Shihuangdi ay ang unang Imperador ng Dinastiyang Chin sa China. Kahit ang Imperyo ay lumakas ng ilang taon pagkatapos ng pagkamatay ni Chin Shih-huang-ti ay marami sa mga aspekto ng kanyang systema ng pamahalaan ay nakaranas ng pag subok sa mahigit na 2000 na taon. Kilala si Ch’in Shih-huang-ti sa panununog ng daandaang libro, sa kagustuhan niyang sakanya mag umpisa ang kasaysayan ng China.

Katawan:

Si Chin Shih-huang-ti ay ipinanganak sa hilagang China. Sa idand na labing 13 ay napamunuan niya ang estado ng Chin at nakuha ng titulong Haring Zheng. Sa taong itinalaga siya sa trono ay tinatawag ang Chin na isa sa mga malakas at makapangyarihang estado sa dynastiyang Chou. Nang bumagsak ang Imperyong Chou ay agad pumalit ang Chin bilang isang bagong Imperyo. Agad niyang ipinatupad ang mahigpit na batas at pwersa ng militar at isinapi ang relihiyon ng Legalismo sa pamahalaan. Pag katapos ng pag giging Imperyo, Iprenoklama niya ang sarili bilang unang Emperador ng dynastiyang Chin. Pinalitan niya ang dating uri ng pamahalaan na Feudal at nag talaga ng 36 na probinsiya at tig iisang tagapamahala nito. Nag talaga ri siya ng parehong timbang sat sukat at ng parehong uri ng pagsulat upang mapadali ang kalakalan at kumunikasyon.

Ipinasunog niya ang daandaang libro ni Confucius dahil gusto niyang sa kanya magsimula ang kasaysayan. Ipinatay din niya ang libo libong Iskolar. Nag pagawa siya ng mga daan at tulay para mapadali ang transportasiyon at kumunikasyon ng bawat probinsiya. Dahil sa Banta ng mga barbarong Mongol ay nag pagawa siya ng isang mahabang pader na binuwisan ng buhay ng milyongmilyong tao na tinawag na The Great Wall Of China.

Konklusiyon at rekomendasiyon:

Natuklasan ko na masiyadong marahas si Ch’in Shih-huang-ti at makasarili.

Hindi niya inisip ang kapakana ng iba bagkus inuna niya pa ang sarililing kapakanan. Nag talaga rin say ang buwis na mataas na dahilan upang mas lalong mag hirap ang mga magsasaka at mapilitang magpaalipin sa mga mayayaman.

Marahil kung inisip niya ang kapakanan ng marami kaysa yung sa kanya siguro mas umunlad ang kanyang Imperyo.

Relevance of Learning Peace Education in My Course

-      Learning peace education as a future educator we should be a role model in promoting peace in our students as well in our community. We should live in accordance to the teachings and values of God and to live as helpers of God. Peace in Education and peace education is a vital part in students learning process because it is the part when we mold and inculcate our students to be a productive and values oriented part of our community.

Prinza Dam (Bacoor- Las Pinas Dam)

Originally built in the 18th century to irrigate surrounding rice field in Las Pinas and Bacoor, Cavite. This Dam is no longer used due to the conversion of most surrounding lands to residences. - (limtrek, Jan 16, 2012)
